CAN/CGSB-4.2 No. 27.4 : Textiles - Burning behavior- Determining ignitability of vertically oriented specimens
CAN/CGSB-4.2 No. 27.4 : Textiles - Burning behavior - Scope:
This International Standard specifies a method for measuring the ease of ignition fabrics; may be simple or complex fabrics (coated, quilted, multilayered, sandwich and other structures like).
This method is used to evaluate the properties of the fabrics in response to contact with a flame in controlled conditions. The results can not be applied to situations with reduced air supply or exposure to significant sources of intense heat.
