CAN/CGSB-4.2 NO.27.1:Textile test method -Flame resistance
CAN/CGSB-4.2 NO.27.1:Textile test method -Flame resistance - - Test Standard:
CAN/CGSB-4.2 NO.27.1:Textile test method - Flame resistance- Vertical burning test
CAN/CGSB-4.2 NO.27.1:Textile test method -Flame resistance -scope:
This method assesses the resistance of textile fabrics to burning when a flame is applied to the lower edge. Because the procedure creates condition favourable to combustion, the test is a severe one relative to some others in the CAN/CGSB-4.2 NO.27 series.
CAN/CGSB-4.2 NO.27.1:Textile test method -Flame resistance –Test Principe:
A luminous flame is applied for a specified time to the lower edge of a specimen of fabric held vertically. The occurrence of flash over the surface of specimen, the afterglow, and the length of the damaged area are noted.
