隨著各種新材料的大量開(kāi)發(fā)和應(yīng)用,潛在的火災(zāi)危險(xiǎn)因素也越來(lái)越多,火災(zāi)的危害性也隨著越來(lái)越大。無(wú)情的大火曾奪去無(wú)數(shù)人的生命,也吞噬了無(wú)數(shù)的社會(huì)財(cái)富,因此增強(qiáng)材料的阻燃防火性能,日益受到各個(gè)領(lǐng)域的重視。
軌道交通領(lǐng)域?qū)Σ牧系淖枞家蟾訃?yán)格,各國(guó)的要求也有所不同。當(dāng)前最具代表性的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)有歐盟EN 45545-2,德標(biāo)DIN5510,英標(biāo)BS6853,法標(biāo)NF F16-101,鐵標(biāo)TB/T3237,美標(biāo)NFPA130,意大利UNI CEI 11170-3,俄羅斯GOST 12.1.044-89等等。

GOST 12.1.044-89本標(biāo)準(zhǔn)適用于基礎(chǔ)材料,聚合混合物,包括聚合物和復(fù)合材料等。但該標(biāo)準(zhǔn)不適用于易爆和放射性的物質(zhì)。
