Product Health Declaration- Introduction
Health Product Declarations (HPDs) are a standard format for transparent disclosure of building product ingredients and associated hazards. HPDs were created by the Health Product Declaration Collaborative and are mainly used in North America.
Product Health Declarations will disclose to in a way that you are comfortable, an ingredient by ingredient (or functional purpose description specific) risk, at which life cycle stage it occurs, and how it has been mitigated and provide plain language and Colour spectrum type analysis by increment and discuss if you product is relevant to more Health Centric rating schemes like WELL, LEED, Green Star, Google Portico, Living Product Challenge etc.
